The Balearic Islands are made up of three major islands, Majorca, Ibiza and Minorca, along with three small islands, Cabrera, Formentera and Dragonera, which is currently unpopulated .
The Balearics Islands are situated just off of the coast of Spain, between France and the coast of Northern Africa, and attract millions of holiday makers every year, with an ever increasing amount of British people retiring to one of the islands and owning a second home there.
Majorca is by far the largest island of the group, with Ibiza being renowned for its party atmosphere and nightlife, and Minorca is probably the least visited but serene of the three islands.
